Today the walls remembered my name.
I went back to the edge of the facility. Not inside—I'm brave, not ridiculous. The concrete was warm even though the air was cold.
Someone had scratched R-07 into the wall years ago. When I put my hand over it, the seven changed into my name.
I left before the door could recognize me too.
